The Boston Red Sox traded slugger Rafael Devers and his $300M contract to the San Francisco Giants after it became clear he had worn out his welcome in Boston. With fans calling him “Diva” after he refused to give up his spot at 3rd base to incoming free agent Alex Bregman, it was past time for the Red Sox to move on and now Devers can try to help the Giants chase down the Dodgers in the National League.
