Antonio Brown's Agent Drew Rosenhaus Releases Statement After Brown is Cut

New England Patriots v Miami Dolphins
Drew Rosenhaus: “It's unfortunate things didn't work out with the Patriots. But Antonio is healthy and is looking forward to his next opportunity in the NFL. He wants to play the game he loves and he hopes to play for another team soon.”

Antonio Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus released a statement just minutes after the New England Patriots shockingly parted ways with Antonio Brown just 13 days after signing arguably the NFL’s best wide receiver.

One of the most tumultuous tenures in sports history mercilly ended after a run of cataclysmic PR disasters.

After signing a one-year contract with the team on September 7th, Brown was accused of raping his former trainer three days later on September 10th.

A week later and another woman had come forward alleging sexual misconduct from Brown.

Brown surprisingly steered clear of the abominations to suit up in New England’s Week 2 blowout victory over the Miami Dolphins, as he even caught four passes for 56 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown strike from Tom Brady.

Brown’s nightmare with New England followed his utterly embarrassing month with the now-humiliated Oakland Raiders.

Brown had missed extended time because of a cryotherapy ‘accident’ in which he suffered frostbite on his feet, then he missed practices because of a helmet grievance, then nearly came to blows with general manager Mike Mayock, then hired a public relations firm to brainstorm ways to self-sabotage his way off the team. All in the span of about four weeks.

Brown is 31 years old and has accumulated 11,263 receiving yards (34th all time) and 75 touchdowns for his career.
