Richland Public Health recently launched a new program called, "Look before you Lock - Richland."
The program got started following the death of a 5 year-old, who was left inside of a hot car in late June in Mansfield.
Dr. Julie Chaya, Health Commissioner at Richland Public Health said, several items are available at no cost to residents, including a pad that connects to your smartphone, reminding you that a child or pet is still in the car.
