An Ashland County judge has sentenced a woman to more than 20 years in prison.
According to AshlandSource.com, the case is from an incident in August of 2024, involving a 6-year old being attacked by a pitbull in Savannah.
Angelina Williams, 28, of Cleveland, pled guilty to all seven charges and will spend between 23 years and 28 years behind bars.
The boy and his 8 year old sister were handcuffed. The boy mauled the dog, who has since recovered from the injuries. They were visiting their mother for two weeks at the time.
Assistant Ashland County Prosecutor, Matt Metcalf, said, the children were forced to pick up poop in the yard, and when they didn't want to do that, they were handcuffed and tied to chairs. He called it "unfathomable". Metcalf said, the woman also shared photos on social media of the daughter handcuffed.
