Ashland Finance Director Larry Paxton says the city is right where it needs to be for its 2022 budget.

According to RichlandSource.com, Paxton said Ashland’s income tax collection have come in a little bit higher than the project $15.2 million dollars.

Right now, figures are showing between $500,000 and $600,000 more than last year. The city budget must be finalized by late March, but Ashland wants to get it done early so they can move ahead with planned projects early next year.
