The City of Ashland will be receiving less COVID-19 money from the American Rescue Plan than originally thought.

Ashland was scheduled to get $3.9 million, but now will receive just over $2 million dollars.

Mayor Matt Miller said, the reason is because Ashland is a smaller city of about 23,000 people and some of their dollars are being shared with townships in Ohio. No exact date on when’s Ashland money will arrive, but it’s expected soon
