LISTEN - Fisher Breaks School Rushing Record, Shelby Dominates Firelands

Shelby was impressive in all 3 phases of the game Saturday night (10/24) at Skiles field, as the Whippets beat Firelands 49-26 in the Division IV, Regional Quarterfinal. Shelby running back Owen Fisher broke the school career rushing record (over 4,300 yards), as the senior rushed for over 280 yards and 4 TD's
.

QB Marshall Shepherd was outstanding throwing 2 TD passes to Cody Lantz and Blaine Bowman. The Whippets defense was great too, as Defensive lineman, Marek Albert, had one of the plays of the night - intercepting a ball and running it back 40 yards for a TD.


Shelby (8-0) will host Clyde (6-3) Saturday nigh (10/31) in the Regional Semi-Finals at Skiles Field.
