Governor Expect To Make Decision on Fall Contact Sports

Expectations are Tuesday Governor Mike DeWine will make his decision on whether fall contact sports can take place across the state of Ohio.

DeWine last week said he would give futher guidance this week and announce his decision.

The OHSAA last Friday announced a shortened high school football season of 6 games, which would see every school qualify for the playoffs, which would start on Oct. 9th.

If DeWine gives the approval, Soccer games would start next week and football, the week after, on Aug 28th.
