Plymouth Launches 7 Acre Solar Field

The village of Plymouth has officially launched a 7 acre Solar Field.

RichlandSource.com reports, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held last Friday, two weeks after the grid went online.

The solar field is expected to save between $60,000 and $70,000 dollars per year in capacity and transmission costs.

Plymouth mayor Cassandra Fryman said this is going to benefit us with operational expenses and keep costs from increasing down the road.
