Mansfield Area Y Responds to COVID-19 Pandemic
Per Governor DeWine’s order to close fitness facilities, the Mansfield Area Y is closed. As we are allowed, we will be continuing to provide child care services with these exceptions:
o Immediate family only for pick-up/drop-off
o No outside visitors or volunteers for programming allowed
o Children will not have access to the YMCA gymnasium and pool

2020 Acura Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio Reschedule Update
The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course announced today that the 2020 Acura Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio originally set for May 1-3, 2020, has been rescheduled to Sept. 25-27, 2020.
The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series are confirmed to run on the new September weekend. Additional series updates, broadcast information and event schedules will be announced as they become available.
The rescheduled date is subject to the ongoing guidance and mandates of national, state and local authorities regarding public gatherings. The health and safety of all associated with this event will remain our priority.

The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio moves to one week earlier in August
"INDYCAR announced earlier today that The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course originally set for Aug. 14-16, 2020, has been moved to one week earlier on the calendar to Aug. 7-9, 2020.
This shift is in support of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES’ efforts to run as many of its points championship races as possible in 2020. Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course moving up its date also opens up the summer calendar further for the Indianapolis 500 to run on August 23, 2020.
This rescheduled date is subject to the ongoing guidance and mandates of national, state and local authorities regarding public gatherings. The health and safety of all associated with this event will remain the priority of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center is temporarily closing UH Kettering Urgent Care
In response to managing and conserving resources, including PPE, during the COVID pandemic, University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center is temporarily closing UH Kettering Urgent Care, including lab and radiology services, (located at 546 North Union Street, Loudonville) at end of business Saturday, April 4. Rehabilitation services remain open at the Kettering location. Patients needing urgent care services can visit the UH Samaritan Urgent Care in Ashland (663 East Main Street). Samaritan Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday 9:30AM to 5:30PM and Saturday 9:30AM to 3:00PM.
Richland SWCD: Pond Fish Sale Cancelled
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (Richland SWCD) has postponed the Tuesday, April 14 Rain Garden and Barrel Workshop. The Richland SWCD Spring Pond Fish Sale pick up originally scheduled for Friday, April 24 has been cancelled. The next pond fish sale will be held in the Fall. Orders are due by Friday, October 9 and pick up is Friday, October 16.

University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center is temporarily changing the hours of UH Samaritan Richland Health Center Urgent Care
The COVID-19 pandemic is requiring University Hospitals leaders to carefully evaluate and align system-wide programs and services so we can meet evolving patient care needs. As a result, University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center is temporarily changing the hours of its UH Samaritan Richland Health Center Urgent Care (located at 1033 Ashland Road, Mansfield) beginning Monday, April 13. The new hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm, closed Saturday.
Patients needing urgent care services can also visit our UH Ashland Urgent Care (663 East Main Street, Ashland) Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 9:30am to 3:00pm.
For emergencies, UH Samaritan Medical Center’s Emergency Room (1025 Center Street, Ashland) is open 24/7.
