City Of Ashland In The Middle Of A Major Road Project

The City of Ashland is currently going through a major repaving project. According to, the project was scheduled by the Ohio Department of Transportation with construction beginning August 12th. The project is expected to be completed in October with a total cost of costs $2 million, but the city’s share of the cost is $700,000. The main roads involved in this project are Center Street, Cottage Street, and East Main Street from Claremont Avenue almost all the way to US-42. Another pavement rehabilitation the US-250 Bypass has been announced to take place in 2020.
