Shelby Mayor give his “State of the City” address

Shelby Mayor Steve Schag gave his “State of the City” address this week. RichlandSource.com reports, Schag was happy with the new businesses that opened up in 2018, along with the new Fire Station being built. The mayor also spoke about how City Council passing an ordinance to increase the tax credit for Shelby residents who work outside city, from 67 percent to 75 percent. Schag said there are a number of projects coming up in 2019, which include the completion of Shelby’s $8.7 wastewater treatment plant.
