Madison Names School Board President, Vice President

The Madison School board met for the first time in 2019 this week and re-elected Jeff Meyers as School board President and John Luedy as Vice President. Meyers has been on the school board for 23 years, with the last 15 as board President. Meyers told WMAN News that the board this year needs to come to a resolution with its situation with its Superintendent. The Madison School board voted 5-0 in September to relieve Superintendent Shelley Hilderbrand of her duties. Right now, Lee Kaple is serving as Madison Schools’ interim Superintendent.
