An Ashland Police officer was taken to the hospital following an accident at the intersection of US 250 and State Route 511 on Wednesday. The highway patrol says 35 year old Hayley Deking of Ashland was cited for failure to yield at the stop sign on State Route 511 and went into the path of the police cruiser, which struck her SVU. There were only minor injuries suffered in the crash that took place around 5:20 p.m.
