Company Needs More Time To Create Jobs at Former Ontario GM Site

The Adler Group entered into an agreement with the city of Ontario 5 years ago to deliver 500 jobs following the closing of the GM Plant.  The deal was for the Adler Group to create 500 jobs by 2017 at the GM property or pay the city of Ontario $1 million.

RichlandSource.com reports, the Adler Group this week asked the city for more time due to economic trends that prevented them from creating the jobs. The Adler group vice president Adam Mait said there is possibly a recycling plant that could be interested in site and could bring 200 jobs to the area.
